June has been an eventful month...some good, some not so good. Brittany got a job working at Carmike 10 across from Lowe's and LOVES her job! She has been working a lot of double shifts though (12 hr days). Erica got her driver's permit and still doesn't want to drive. She's still kind of spooked by the accident that she and Brittany were in a couple months ago. Kaycee has been going to swimming lessons and for the most part likes it. She also gave Erica a haircut trying to "make her pretty" so Erica had to go and get a real haircut. David has been working a lot of overtime with the summer here, which is good. When it was super rainy the last two months he was not bringing home full paychecks, but even though we struggled a little, God was faithful and kept providing exactly what we needed :) Work has been slow for me at David's Bumpers with the dealerships that we sell to closing. We're not sure about the future of David's Bumpers at the moment. I have been struggling a lot lately with my fibromyalgia. Hopefully the doctor will be able to straighten it out when I go back in August. David's dad got a bad report on his cancer. The lymphoma has come back aggressively and as T cell. So now he has to be hospitalized for his chemo for 5 days and have chemo 24 hours a day every 3 weeks. Hopefully he will be able to have a stem cell transplant sometime in August or September. Mom came in on her birthday weekend. Zach stayed that weekend with us too and we had a birthday party for her and I made her a cake and some cupcakes and we had a cookout with Nancy and Daniel. We all had a really nice time. Britt and Erica will be leaving next Friday to go with their grandma and grandpa and to see their daddy in Virginia. Their grandma also has cancer and has been told she may have about 2 to 3 years at the most to live. So they have had a hard time dealing with having two grandparents being sick with cancer. David and I will be leaving that evening to take Kaycee to Orlando to Sea World. I will miss Britt and Erica as I always do, but hopefully the trip we are going on will help keep my mind off of that. Britt will also be bringing back her daddy's car from Virginia that she bought from him. She has been without a car since the accident and has been having to drive David's noisy little Dakota around.
