JULY 2009

In July we took Kaycee to Florida while the girls went to visit their dad and grandparents. We went to Sea World for a few days and then over to Cocoa Beach for a couple days. Kaycee had so much fun and for the most part the weather was great. Kaycee got to eat breakfast with Elmo and a few other Sesame Street characters. She was terrified of them at first so I had to give all of them hugs so she would see that they were nice. Elmo was the only one she wasn't afraid of. She ran right up to him and gave him a BIG hug. She loved Shamu, the dolphins, sharks, sea lions and fish. She had her heart set on riding the kiddie roller coaster and they said she would be able to ride it, so we stood in line for a long time just to get up there and the man tell her she can't ride it. It broke her little heart. She cried and cried. It was so sad. The beach was a lot of fun for her too. She didn't quite like the sand at first. She doesn't like to get stuff on her feet. She got used to it though. She had fun jumping the waves and building a sand castle with daddy and walking the beach and looking for shells. They didn't get to jump the waves a whole lot because there were stingrays in the water. She ate a TON of shrimp while on vacation. That and mac 'n cheese was all we could get her to eat. Kaycee said "bacation was great" and she wants to go back. She was so upset that we had to come back home.
The girls go back to school on the 17th. This will be Britt's last year and Erica will be a sophomore. We are going to the school tomorrow to pay school fees and get their schedules. Kaycee is learning to go to the "bafroom" all by herself, except when she has to poopie. Her favorite new phrase to use is "that cracks me up!"
