MAKES YOU STOP AND THINK

Yesterday, at Central High School, there was a shooting and one boy killed. This school is just 15 minutes from where Brittany and Erica go to school. They had even discussed rezoning and the girls would have had to go there this year. Thankfully, that did not happen. It happened before school in the cafeteria. The cafeteria was full of kids eating breakfast and a 15 year old boy who had an argument with a 16 year old boy the day before came into the cafeteria and shot the other one in the chest and he died shortly afterwards. Both of the boys were bullies. The shooter's dad is in jail for murder and his sister is on the run for murdering someone. Even though my girls don't go to the school, it was still very upsetting. All of Knox county schools went into lockdown immediately. It is so sad that our world is so violent anymore. School is supposed to be a safe place for our kids. It makes you wonder when it is going to happen at the school where my kids go and if it does, how will it affect them and me? It is so scary anymore. I pray God's protection over my girls every day. What has gone wrong that kids are killing kids now? Our world needs Jesus!
