WE DID IT

It's on August 7th at 8:30 am. The first appointment of the day. We finally set a time to take Britt to get her license. David's dad finally got her car running good and put tires on it and some new pin stripe and it looks pretty good...minus the dent on the hood and the tear in the bumper cover. Oh well, your first car can't always be perfect. Now we have to get her parking pass for school because she will be driving her and Erica to school this year...That's right! I now have TWO kids in high school! Or I will on August 11th...the first day of school for the girls. Boy am I getting old! Or at least I feel like it. Britt will be looking for a job after band camp is over with in two weeks. This will be the last year Britt is going to be in marching band. She and Erica are in the colorguard this year instead of playing their instruments. Below are just a few random pictures taken in the last few weeks. We are still working on getting Britt's France and Spain pictures together. There are around 300 of them so it is taking a little while longer than we anticipated.

Dixie Stampede in Pigeon Forge. David and I took the girls there on our week off from work. Kaycee absolutely loved it. She hardly ate anything because she was so engrossed in the animals and action.

This is the dress that Britt bought for Kaycee in Spain. I believe it is called a Flaminco (not sure and not sure of the spelling).

Zach came over to swim with the girls one day and Kaycee decided to streak while "cooking" something for the girls and Zach with her play food.

The girls and I went to Bloomsday at UT with my friend, Lori. She works there in one of the departments that grows plants. All of the flowers and plants were beautiful.

Laura,

You're not getting older, just wiser. :) Believe me, I feel your pain.
