CAMPING

David and I took the girls camping over Memorial Day weekend. Our friends from church, Rodney and Lori went with us. We all love to go camping and this was Kaycee's first camping trip. She loved it! She also took a lot of naps over the weekend...I think the mountain air made her sleepy. We took the girls fishing one day. They didn't catch anything, but the guy across the pond from us caught 8 bass. Oh well! They enjoyed it just the same. We love the campground in Cherokee called Indian Creek Campground. We try to go at least once a year. We hope to go back again later on this year. If you ever go camping in Cherokee, you should give that campground a try. It's very well maintained, they have one room cabins you can rent if you don't have a tent or a pop-up and sleeping by the creek is wonderful!
